Documenting life and story to share with others is a sweet spot for me. Getting close and intimate with my subjects to give a sense of emotion and feeling of being present to breathe life into the stories we share. To grow, to learn, and to educate. My images in this arena always emphasize emotion and composition so that the viewer feels moved.

Surfing Through Cancer
The following images were taken while following Danielle Cass — a mother, Microsoft employee, and surfer. I documented her journey as she successfully surfed with her friends through her chemotherapy after being diagnosed with breast cancer as a way to keep a balanced life through the ups and downs of cancer treatment.
This story and these images have been published in The Pacific Longboarder Magazine, Cancer Today and The Inertia.
Sri Lankan K-9 Outreach
The following images were taken to document the work of volunteers in Sri Lanka. A K-9 outreach to help spay, neuter, de-tick, feed and clean the street dogs in various villages throughout the island. The images were used to bring a larger public awareness to the program, its purpose and social benefits.
